Thanks to digital cameras, consumers are capturing more moments than ever before. The average consumer takes eight to ten times more digital photos than with analogue cameras. Nonetheless, these digital images tend to remain on computers rather than in printed albums.Because so few digital images were printed, Photobooks have evolved. Up to 30 pages and 90 photos can be included in each KIS Photobook. The high quality albums feature a glossy finish and 300 dpi print resolution, beautifully showcasing photos. The popular DVD jacket size (5.7” x 8”), complete with the album title printed on the spine, is easy to view, share and store.

Determined to create an in ‐store, operator‐free solution, the KIS Photo‐Me Group research and development team engineered cutting edge, smart technology software to ready to take over the Photobook process and create an aesthetically pleasing album in minutes.With just five clicks, customers set up their album and the KIS smart technology software arranges layout, page selection and photo order. Complex algorithms have been created to duplicate consumer driven designs. Images are scanned and sorted based on archival details and photo orientation to arrange pictures both chronologically and by location. In less than two minutes, the entire Photobook is created! KIS Photobook price is incremental, based on the number of photos submitted for each book, the KIS smart technology software determines the number of pages in the book and the final price for the finished album.
KIS Photobook Maker process
With seven simple steps, the KIS Photobook Maker sets up an album! Carefully designed to ensure a user‐friendly experience, the KIS Photobook Maker completes the album with limited input required from the consumer. First, the consumer selects the images they would like in the album, simply by touching the screen. Next, consumers verify each image is facing the right direction to ensure the photos appear in the book with the correct orientation. Consumers then select the image they would like on the front cover and enter a Photobook title which will be printed on the album cover and spine.
Consumers then choose the background theme for the album and preview the image layout page by page. Finally, the order is confirmed and a receipt is printed, allowing customers to pay for their Photobook at the register. And lastly, the Photobook drops out of the bottom of the machine, ready for consumer pick‐up.
